The staff, children and governors are keen to appoint a committed manager to set up and run our new wraparound provision opening in the Summer term. Hours of work: 7.15am-9am and 3pm to 6.00pm (Job Share may be considered).
You will be responsible for the management and administration of the Wrap Around Care and lead an effective childcare provision which provides safe, high-quality care and play opportunities.

The successful candidate will:
- Be responsible for the management and administration of the Wrap Around Care and lead an effective childcare provision which provides safe, high-quality care and play opportunities.
- Ensure that parents, carers and other visitors are made to feel welcome on visiting the facility and that they receive appropriate information and advice.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater for a range of interests and age groups.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children attending the club.
- Manage and lead a small team of staff, ensuring high-quality care and play opportunities.
- Maintain health and safety standards and safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Be designated safeguarding lead for the wraparound setting.
The successful candidate will have:
- NVQ3/Level 3 in childcare or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience in a child care setting.
