We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this mid-level role, you will provide essential data analysis and reporting functions that support performance management, statutory collections, and business transformation. Your insights will help shape evidence-based decision-making across the council, Integrated Care Systems (ICS), and departmental levels.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Analysis: Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver reports that support decision-making at all levels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with BI Partners and Developers to enhance our data warehouse outputs.
  • Support: Assist in performance management and statutory collections to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Communication: Present findings in an engaging manner to diverse stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Background: A minimum of grade C in English and Maths at GCSE and evidence of ongoing professional development in a relevant field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong background in data analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Knowledge of Local Government: Familiarity with council structures and adult social care responsibilities is advantageous.
