Overview

Technology Enabled Care Advisor role supporting people to live safely and independently at home. You will work with a small team of TEC Advisors, provide advice, assess referrals from social care staff, partner agencies and the public, and arrange with our service delivery partner for the installation of appropriate TEC solutions. You will also review existing TEC installations to ensure equipment continues to meet people’s needs. This post is based in Nottinghamshire County Council with hybrid working arrangements.

Location: Lawn View House, Sutton In Ashfield, NG17 5GA

Salary: £26,824 – £29,540 per annum

Type of vacancy: Fixed Term

Working pattern: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and assess referrals related to Technology Enabled Care from social care staff, partner agencies and the public.
  • Coordinate with the service delivery partner to install TEC solutions appropriate to individual needs.
  • Review existing TEC installations to ensure equipment meets people’s needs and is up to date with TEC developments.
  • Support older people, people with physical or learning disabilities, and people with mental health issues to maintain independence through TEC.
  • Stay up to date with new TEC solutions and developments as this is a changing area of work.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Good understanding of how TEC can be used to support independence for the relevant client groups.
  • Ability to work as part of a small TEC team and liaise with social care staff, partner agencies and the public.
  • Willingness to learn and keep up to date with evolving TEC solutions.
