Team Manager for Governing Body Services responsible for supporting school governors, ensuring they are kept up to date with legislation and policy changes, and communicating with senior Local Authority Officers in Nottinghamshire.

Location: Meadow House, Littleworth, NG18 2TB. Working pattern: Full Time, 37 hours per week, hybrid.

Salary: £47,181 - £52,413 per annum. Vacancy Type: Permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver high‑quality support to school governors.
  • Stay abreast of changes in legislation and policy that impact governance.
  • Liaise with senior Local Authority Officers to share insights on governance challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and training to governors, ensuring they have the tools needed to succeed.
  • Encourage the adoption of effective governance practices across schools.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • A relevant qualification at level 4 or above (e.g., in education, social care, child development, or family systems).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Knowledge of effective, evidence‑based practices in governance and education.
  • Familiarity with risk management and budget management principles.
  • Knowledge of Education Safeguarding.
