We are looking to appoint two experienced Teaching Assistants to join our supportive, hardworking and successful Cognition and Learning Team within Nottinghamshire County Council’s SEND Inclusion Service.
- Model, advise and deliver effective strategies/interventions to improve outcomes for children and young people with complex cognition difficulties in Key Stages 2–5.
- Use positive and inclusive approaches to support school staff, liaise with parents, and engage directly with children and young people where appropriate.
- Work closely with specialist teachers on the team.
- Support a collaborative, solution‑focused working environment across the County.
- Drive is required as a significant component of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experienced Teaching Assistant.
- Highly motivated, creative practitioner who enjoys collaborative work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undertake appropriate background checks (Disclosure and Barring Service).
