Nottinghamshire County Council is looking to recruit a Senior Local Transport Plans Officer to join its Local Transport Plans & Programme Development Team.
The successful applicant will help develop a range of highways and transport projects and activities in line with the County Council’s aspirations. As well as providing advice and information to a range of customers, the role includes undertaking research and analysis, and developing, commissioning, managing, and reporting on highways and transport programmes of work.
You will be working with Via East Midlands Ltd – the County Council’s own highways contractor – and other partners so a commitment to collaborative working and collective problem solving is essential.
Although Highways experience is preferred, applicants with appropriate transferable skills will also be considered.
