We are looking for a compassionate, motivated individual to join our team as a Residential Social Care Worker.
The Children and Families Department takes a strengths‑based approach to working with each other, children, young people and families, and our partner agencies. We call this ’Our Nottinghamshire Approach’.
Responsibilities
- Providing high‑quality care and support to young people in a residential setting.
- Meeting the physical and emotional needs of the young people.
- Engaging in activities that promote their development and well‑being.
- Working collaboratively with team members to create a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to care plans.
- Participating in shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months experience working with children, young people or adults, either in a voluntary, work or other relevant setting.
- A background in supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
- A full driving licence (unless a disability precludes this).

Working Hours and Benefits
