As a Relief Night Care Assistant, you will help ensure young people feel safe, supported, and cared for overnight by maintaining a calm and secure environment. Your duties will include supporting bedtime routines, monitoring welfare throughout the night, operating security systems, and completing light domestic tasks. You will cover annual leave and sickness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, supportive, and positive care to all resident children and young people.
- Participate in the bedtime routines of young people.
- Monitor the welfare and safety of young people overnight.
- Operate security systems to ensure a safe environment.
- Perform domestic tasks as needed to maintain the unit.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Basic understanding of child development and care needs.
