Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team at Clayfields House Secure Children’s Home. Located just a few miles from the M1, we provide care and support for young people aged 10-17 from diverse backgrounds. Our focus is on delivering care, education, and enriching experiences for those who require secure accommodation.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our established catering team. In this role, you will assist with food preparation and maintain a clean kitchen environment, ensuring that our young residents receive nutritious meals in a safe setting. Your work will play an important role in their daily care and wellbeing.

Available shifts would cover seven days a week including bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with vegetable and basic food preparation.
  • Clean the kitchen and all equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Engage positively with staff and young residents.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Basic food preparation skills or a willingness to learn and undertake basic training.
  • Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
