An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading role in the Payroll Services team during a time of significant change with the replacement of the SAP Payroll system. You will be responsible for providing support to the payroll manager and the payroll team to deliver a highly accurate and effective payroll service for NCC colleagues, schools, pensioners, and a range of sold service clients. This will be an evolving role which will work both across project activities as well as providing resilience and support for the wider payroll service. You will be highly motivated with a can-do attitude, keen to develop yourself and colleagues. You will be well organised and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key functions of the role include:
- Supportive involvement in the deployment of a new payroll solution
- Supporting and developing a team of payroll colleagues
- Supporting clients and colleagues in payroll related activities
- Working across departments and with partner organisations on payroll activities
- Ensuring the compliance of payroll functions and user functions, providing guidance and support
- Working strategically with colleagues to further improve the payroll function
- Leading on projects, including implementation of new processes and forms
