The Payments & Billing Team within Adult Care Financial Services are looking to recruit 2 experienced professionals into the Nottinghamshire County Council organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join an inclusive and empowering section of the Adult Social Care department of the local government organisation. This team will administer financial processes to ensure accurate and timely completion of payment and billing services associated with the provision of Adult Social Care.
Responsibilities:
- You will liaise with internal colleagues, as well as external care providers and respond to public enquiries regarding their payments and billing needs.
- You will require excellent communication and listening skills and be able to demonstrate empathetically via telephone and email to deliver an exemplary standard of service to your customers' needs.
- You should be able to work on your own, taking initiative to find solutions and troubleshoot tasks comfortably.
- We are looking for self-motivated candidates, with plenty of enthusiasm, who can manage and prioritise work to meet challenging deadlines.
- You will be numerate and have excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel), and be quick to learn systems and processes.
Training will be provided on all aspects of the role.
