The Children and Families Department takes a strengths‑based approach to working with each other, children, young people and families, and our partner agencies. We call this “Our Nottinghamshire Approach”.
Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement: Foster strong relationships with specialist education and short breaks providers to support market development and collaboration.
- Market Analysis: Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for growth within the provider market.
- Support Development: Assist in the creation and enhancement of new and existing provisions.
- Market Position Statements: Produce, maintain, and publish comprehensive Market Position Statements.
- Commissioner Support: Provide market intelligence, advice, and engage with providers to support commissioners.
- Promote Quality: Advocate for safeguarding, quality assurance, and service user participation across commissioned provisions.
Qualifications
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent recent and relevant experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of legislation relating to social care, SEND and education.
- Experience in quality assurance or contract management methodologies.
Candidate Profile
- Communicates effectively, engaging and motivating diverse audiences.
- Utilises performance data and stakeholder feedback to drive service improvements.
- Exhibits resilience, personal accountability, and a commitment to service excellence.
- Possesses strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering service improvements.
