Responsibilities

  • Testing and implementing releases to ensure smooth updates and enhancements to the Civica UPM system.
  • Incident resolution using ITIL-style processes to resolve incidents and defects efficiently.
  • Reporting support, including statutory and ad-hoc reporting, audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Data quality improvement through validation and cleansing processes.
  • Bulk updates and scheduled jobs to maintain system performance.
  • Change management contributions and support future rollouts, such as Portals.
  • User support by providing guidance, assistance and dissemination of key information.
  • Annual processes such as delivery of Annual Benefit Statements and Pensions Increase updates.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LGPS regulations and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve system performance.
  • Proven experience in testing and user support; knowledge of pensions‐related web portals is desirable.
  • Technical proficiency with Civica UPM or other LGPS systems and Microsoft Office products.
