SEND Inclusion Services have some exciting opportunities and are seeking to appoint 4 people to the role of Specialist Teaching Assistant within the Home and Pre-School Team. These roles involve supporting children from 0 - 5 with a range of severe and complex special educational needs in a variety of settings including the family's home.
Part of these roles will be to visit families at home to offer support and advice around their child's needs. You will undertake assessments, set targets and model positive ways of working to promote the child's next steps in development. In addition, you will visit the EY's settings that the children attend and support staff to provide inclusive interventions and provision.
You should be knowledgeable EY's practitioners, who are confident in their skills of working with young children with SEND and committed to Inclusion. You should also be organised, flexible, hardworking, enjoy being part of a team, willing to contribute ideas and support colleagues. Finally, you should hold a full driving license.
