The Catering & Facilities Management Service of Nottinghamshire County Council is looking to employ a Cleaner in Charge to enhance the cleaning standards at Willoughby Primary School with immediate effect. This is a part-time position, working 10 hours per week, with shifts between 4.15pm - 6.15pm, Monday to Friday during term time, plus three weeks of school holiday cleaning to be agreed with the school.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a friendly environment as part of a focused team. The ideal candidate will be someone who uses their initiative, is able to work independently, and can manage their time effectively to meet the cleaning needs of the site.
Duties include:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Cleaning washrooms and washing furniture
- Window cleaning
- Occasional use of electrical cleaning equipment (e.g buffing machine and wet pick-up)
- Closing the site
Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Protective clothing and other PPE will be supplied.
