We are seeking a Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises at Hagg Farm OEC. This role is vital in ensuring our 62‑bed residential centre is welcoming and well‑presented for our guests. You will work 15 hours per week, typically on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings or early afternoons. This is a Term‑Time Only position, perfect for those looking for a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining all floor areas, internal windows, walls, and furniture in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Polishing floors and furniture, and shampooing carpets and upholstery.
  • Cleaning kitchen equipment, working surfaces, and storage facilities.
  • Ensuring bathrooms and other facilities are hygienic and well‑maintained.
  • Assisting with the laundering of clothing and bedding.
  • Adhering to cleaning schedules and ensuring high standards of quality in all work undertaken.

Qualifications

  • A general standard of education.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Experience in cleaning within a domestic or commercial setting.
  • Basic understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and risk assessments.
