We are looking for a friendly, organised and flexible Centre Support Assistant to join our team at Worksop Turbine Business & Innovation Centre. This is a key frontline role, providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Centre.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact on reception, managing visitors, calls, deliveries and enquiries
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Centre team and service occupiers
- Support meeting room bookings, events and invoicing processes
- Assist with building safety, compliance checks and basic maintenance monitoring
- Liaise with contractors and support planned and reactive maintenance
- Help maintain the Centreβs website and social media content
- Act as a key holder and support opening, closing and emergency response when required
You will work closely with the Assistant Centre Manager and play a vital role in presenting a professional, welcoming image of the Centre.
Working Pattern & Flexibility
- Fixed working days: Monday and Tuesday every week
- In addition, you will be required to provide holiday and sickness cover for other team members, mainly during the holiday season, with the opportunity to work additional hours for up to 12 weeks of the year
- Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service
About You
- Confident, friendly and professional with excellent customer service skills
- Well organised, with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, flexible and willing to learn
- Competent in IT, including Microsoft Office
Essential
- Experience in a customer-facing or reception role
- Administrative experience in a busy environment
Desirable
- Experience in facilities, building support or similar roles
- Knowledge of health & safety or property compliance
- Experience with events, room bookings or social media
Training will be provided for health & safety and building compliance duties.
