Job Description

Business Support Administrator – The Business Support service requires a Business Support Administrator whose role is to complete a range of business‑critical functions which enables the Assessment Social Care Team to carry out their work with Children, Families and Cultural Services of Nottinghamshire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide bespoke administrative support to busy front line social work teams.
  • Data input and manipulation, arranging complex meetings and organising invites, minuting sensitive meetings.
  • Arrange and cancel visits for social workers with families and agencies.
  • Facilitate and attend team meetings, liaise with other social care colleagues and managers in relation to social work tasks and timescales.
  • Arrange documentation for financial payments and provide accurate information to Business Support colleagues.
  • Prioritise a busy and varied workload, work quickly and accurately to strict deadlines.

Requirements

Experience as an administrator with excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint & Teams. Ability to be organised, work on own initiative, strong problem‑solving skills, flexible and professional attitude, appreciation of confidentiality and GDPR. Excellent customer service skills, able to deal with people sensitively and treat all customers with respect and consideration.
