Schedule: 0.7 FTE, working hours 7:00‑9:00 & 15:30‑20:00 Monday‑Friday (32.5 hrs a week), term time only. Some additional weekend work required. The salary is £13.11 per hour plus competitive employee benefits.

The role involves maintaining the safety and security of the school site through the operation of physical security systems and processes. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a visible presence across campus, supporting staff and pupils while ensuring a secure environment.
  • Supporting day‑to‑day operations such as deliveries, visitor parking and school events.
  • Operating physical security systems and monitoring CCTV.
  • Controlling access and managing movement of visitors and contractors.
  • Responding to changing demands and supporting staff/time management.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience within a security or similar environment.
  • Current SIA licence.
  • Professional, organised approach.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting and communicate confidently with people at all levels.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude.
