The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
In this role, you will be assisting radiologists, clinicians, and radiographers during symptomatic and screening assessment clinics. You will be required to communicate effectively with clients and patients from different backgrounds, or who may have challenging behaviours, learning and physical disabilities or who may have received bad news.
What you can add
- Escorting and chaperoning for ultrasound and clinical examinations
- Assisting with ultrasound and stereotactic guided biopsy procedures
- Caring for patients during and after diagnostic procedures
- Preparing examination room and equipment ready for use
- Experience working within an outpatient or clinic setting, ideally within breast clinics and with patients undergoing biopsies.
- Able to manage stressful situations with empathy.
- Able to manipulate fine tools and equipment.
- Able to undertake patient manual handling manoeuvres and non-patient manual handling manoeuvres with help of mechanical aides, if required
