An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Midwife to join the Quality, Risk and Safety (QRS) team within NUH Maternity Services. NUH cares for over 6,500 women and babies annually, operating as a tertiary referral unit and recognised for its excellence in teaching and research with university affiliations. This role offers significant job satisfaction, directly impacting patients and staff.
As Part Of The QRS Team, You\’ll Be Active Across Both Hospital Sites And Community Teams. You\’ll Need a Strong Understanding Of The Clinical Governance Agenda In Maternity Services, Plus Awareness Of Key National Guidance, Including
- Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle (v2 & 3)
- Ockenden Review (parts 1 & 2)
- NICE guidelines
- Royal College of Obstetricians guidance
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
- Developing and managing incident and risk programmes
- Supporting the Clinical Effectiveness agenda
- Supporting patient safety improvement initiatives
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
