As Deputy to the Data Protection Officer, you will collaborate with colleagues at all levels during an exciting period of change, supporting the Trust\’s \’People First\’ strategy and our initiatives to Centralise, Standardise, and Digitalise.

We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic, and approachable individual with proven success in a senior management role within a complex healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

You will lead key areas including:

  • Data Protection: Data Protection Impact Assessments, Data Sharing/Processing Agreements, and Information Asset Management.
  • Data Requests: Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information Requests, and disclosures.
  • Data Breaches: Managing data incidents and breaches concerning the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of information assets.
  • Data Security: NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit compliance and regulatory adherence.
