Are you looking for your next challenge? This is a great opportunity to join Nottingham High School as a Marketing and Admissions Assistant. The working hours are 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday, all year round.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing, Admissions and Partnership functions to reach target audiences and maintain the school’s reputation.
- Keep the school’s social media channels updated with engaging daily content.
- Devising and coordinating photo opportunities, taking photographs and videos for use on social media and in other marketing materials.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking research and produce reports; develop compelling content for the school website; contribute to research, content creation and proofing of publications including annual yearbooks.
- Assist with Admissions events and activities such as Open Day, Infant and Junior School assessment days, Taster Days and all Entrance assessments.
- Arrange tours for parents wishing to visit the school.
- Maintain the Admissions database with data entry and reports.
- Send Admissions literature to prospective parents.
- Support communications for Partnership events at the school.
- Develop design and production of communication materials and literature; support ad-hoc projects within Marketing and Admissions.
- Deliver a bespoke, personal service to all enquirers, ensuring outstanding customer care.
Qualifications:
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Systematic approach, attention to detail and ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
- Proven experience in a similar role such as marketing, events or communications.
- Awareness of social media best practice.
- Experience with social media analytics tools such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Ability to write engaging and relevant copy for marketing materials, press releases, newsletters and social media; skill to proofread efficiently.
