Nottingham High School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Head (Academic) to join its Infant and Junior School Senior Leadership Team. Working closely with the Head of IJS and fellow members of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for the School's academic provision, leading the continued development of the curriculum, assessment, teaching and learning, and academic standards across the IJS and into the Senior School. They will inspire colleagues, champion innovation where appropriate, and ensure the School continues to provide a challenging, broad and intellectually stimulating education that prepares pupils for success both within and beyond the classroom. Nottingham High School places a strong emphasis on nurturing curiosity, character and a lifelong love of learning within a diverse and inclusive community.
The Deputy Head (Academic) will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic leadership and future development of the School while working collaboratively with academic and pastoral leaders to ensure pupils flourish academically and personally. They will have a small weekly teaching commitment linked to this role.
