Join Our Team at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium! Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? We are looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Casual Restaurant Supervisor to join our hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic venue that hosts a variety of events throughout the year. This is a casual position, with various hours and availability of shifts; however, candidates must be available to work every Monday and Friday from 3:00pm to 10:30pm, and be able to commit to working throughout the full calendar year (including non-term time).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times in a friendly, efficient and professional manner
  • Supervise and support the hospitality team to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently met
  • Lead by example to create a warm, welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests
  • Advise customers on food and beverage options
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks, including wine and bar beverages
  • Set up restaurant areas, including laying tables for service and events
  • Maintain stock levels, ensure correct stock rotation, and assist with stocktaking
  • Handle payments and operate tills in line with company procedures
  • Ensure all areas are clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Complete and oversee accurate records such as temperature logs and wastage sheets
  • Ensure all company policies, procedures and licensing laws are followed
  • Act as a point of contact for guests, handling queries and resolving issues professionally
