Role Overview

The Insights Executive will ensure that every commercial decision at Nottingham Forest is informed by data and delivered with clarity. By providing timely, credible intelligence, to help turn information into action, strengthen relationships, and demonstrate measurable value to our partners.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver consistent monthly reports for all partners, highlighting media value, social reach, sentiment, engagement, and return on investment.
  • Data Management: Maintain Power BI dashboards, HubSpot CRM data, and GSIQ audience insights, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Brand Intelligence: Support new business activity with weekly brand and category briefings, identifying and ranking target prospects aligned to fan demographics.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor outreach and campaign performance, producing concise internal summaries to guide decision-making and measure efficiency.
  • Commercial Support: Provide analytical input for renewals and proposals, helping to demonstrate partner relevance, category alignment, and audience fit.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Activation teams to embed data into presentations, business cases, and reporting frameworks.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

  • Degree in Data Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or Marketing Analytics (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Understanding of digital marketing and media performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team.
  • A genuine interest in football, sponsorship, and commercial marketing.

  • Timely and accurate delivery of monthly partner reports.
  • Data integrity and dashboard accuracy maintained at ≥99%.
  • Regular weekly and bi-weekly internal reports completed to schedule.
  • Demonstrable contribution to maintaining an 80% partnership renewal rate.
