About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, assertive, and approachable professional to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and contribute to the attainment of Nottingham Forest Women’s Pro Game Academy goals and objectives. The post holder will be responsible for injury mitigation strategies, the rehabilitation of players and pitch-side provision for training and match days.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality provision for Pro Game Academy and ETC players, ensuring full assessment and diagnosis.
- Plan and oversee the treatment and rehabilitation of injured PGA players, ensuring injuries are managed to meet professional standards.
- Ensure all injuries are documented appropriately, escalated where appropriate, and the necessary evaluations are done to ensure any learnings are made.
- Liaise with the coaching staff to support the load management of players and return to play pathway for injured athletes.
- Provide effective communication throughout the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring all updates are communicated to all relevant parties.
- Work with the MDT to support the delivery of injury prevention programmes.
- Provide pitch-side cover for all training and matches (home and away).
- Liaise with internal (Club Doctor, medical team) and external (NHS/Private) stakeholders to facilitate external medical management, where necessary.
- Work with the Girls Academy Manager to continue to develop the player care/support strategy.
- Support a performance-based culture which maximises players potential through prevention, treatment and education.
- Always ensure appropriate professional confidentiality and always behave to project a professional image of Nottingham Forest Football Club and act in the Club’s best interests.
- Ad hoc duties required by the Head of Women and Girls Football to meet the needs of the business.
What are we looking for
- BSc in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered.
- Pitch side qualification; ITMMiF (essential), ATMMiF (desirable).
- United Kingdom Anti‑Doping (UKAD) Introduction to Clean Sport.
- At least one year of practical experience working in an elite sport environment.
- Experience of working as part of a Multi‑Disciplinary Team.
- Background in soft tissue massage and taping.
- MSc in Physiotherapy (desirable).
- Experience of working in elite female sport (desirable).
