Job Title:Casual Netball Community Coaches

Job Summary: Nottingham Forest Netball is seeking passionate and dedicated Community Coaches . The ideal candidates will be responsible for coaching and developing netball skills in various communities within Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire. This role involves working with players of all ages and abilities, promoting the sport, and encouraging participation in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality netball coaching sessions to players of all ages and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of netball.
- Develop and implement training programs that cater to the individual needs of players.
- Monitor and evaluate player progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during coaching sessions.
- Promote Nottingham Forest Netball and its programs within local communities.
- Assist in organising and running local netball events, tournaments, and competitions.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is used safely and effectively.
- Attend CPD events organised by Nottingham Forest.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Netball coaching qualification for Head Coach (LEVEL 2 or ABOVE)
- Netball coaching qualification for Assistant Coach (LEVEL 1 or ABOVE)
- Previous coaching experience, preferably within a community setting.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to inspire and motivate players of all ages and abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in sports.
- Valid driver\’s license and access to a vehicle for travel between locations.
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding certification
Desirable:
- Experience working with young people or in educational settings.
- Familiarity with the local netball community in Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, or Lincolnshire.
