The Employability and Skills Manager will lead the strategic development, delivery and growth of all employability, skills and training programmes across the Trust. This includes direct line management of the Think Big programme and responsibility for ensuring high-quality, impactful provision for young people and adults across Nottinghamshire. The postholder will drive partnerships, secure new opportunities, oversee curriculum development, and ensure programmes meet organisational KPIs, funding requirements and community needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-year employability and skills strategy for the Trust
  • Manage all programmes including Think Big, adult training and NEET provision
  • Develop partnerships with local employers for work experience, mentoring and job opportunities
  • Oversee curriculum design and quality assurance across all delivery
  • Line manage the employability and skills team, coaching and developing staff
  • Deliver engaging workshops to young people on matchdays at the City Ground
  • Produce impact reports for internal and external stakeholders to drive improvement and support funding bids
  • Collaborate with marketing to create case studies, video and media content
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and NFCT policies at all times

A strong planner, organiser, evaluator, relationship-builder and communicator, you manage a team with purpose, working together to ensure high-quality, engaging content centred on sport and technology, and ensuring every participant moves forward.
