About The Role
As a Compliance Contracts Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our compliance operations, ensuring that our homes meet all statutory and regulatory requirements. You will:
- Oversee the delivery of Fire Safety contracts including Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Inspections and other regulatory inspection programmes.
- Complete necessary reports, recordings and administration to improve landlord compliance.
- Monitor and report on all areas of responsibility including potential instances of non‑compliance.
- Ensure that works completed relating to compliance are completed and maintained in line with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and within timescale.
- Support the Compliance Contracts Manager in the procurement of services via traditional tenders or frameworks.
- Monitor contract administration with service providers and contractors and assist with managing service provider and contractor performance.
- Responsible for the KPI’s for contracts; taking any necessary action to ensure agreed standards are achieved.
- Support colleagues and contractors in overseeing refurbishment, maintenance and repair work within relevant buildings.
- Carry out monitored/pre/post inspections on compliance related works carried out by both contractors and in‑house teams.

About You

- Strong knowledge of the ‘Big 6’ compliance areas in housing.
- Demonstrable experience of working with fire compliance.
- Experience of planning and delivering complex programmes of work on time, to specification and budget.
- Experience in landlord compliance, contract procurement and contractor management.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- A full valid driving licence and flexibility to attend meetings outside core hours.
