Were looking for a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Support Workerto join our team ata supported living service for adults with enduring mental health needs.
This role is all about empowering individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities, to live independently, make informed choices, and enjoy fulfilling lives. We use a trauma-informedand strengths-based approachto support each persons journey.
Whether you\’re experienced in social care or looking to start your journey in the sector, we offer the training and support to help you thrive.
This is a 24-hour service, operating 7 days a week. Shifts include:
  • 7:00am 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm 10:00pm
  • 10:00pm 7:00am (waking nights)
Weekend availability is essential.The role is located in Worksop town centre and access to a car or reliable transport is strongly recommended to ensure you can attend shifts on time.
What Youll Do
As a Support Worker, youll play a key role in helping individuals grow and succeed. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing face-to-face support tailored to each persons needs
  • Supporting service users with tenancy management and home care
  • Promoting daily living skills, budgeting, and wellbeing
  • Writing and reviewing risk assessments, following safeguarding procedures, legislation, and health & safety standards
  • Building strong relationships with families, social workers, and other professionals
  • Administering medication and coordinating shifts on a rota basis
  • Maintaining accurate records using IT systems (basic IT skills required)
