Where you’ll be working:
Bridge Street is a short‑term supported housing service where adults can stay for up to 12 months while building the confidence and skills needed for independent living. We also provide up to 8 weeks of transitional support as people move into their own homes in the community. This is a place where every conversation, every intervention and every small step can help someone regain control of their wellbeing and future.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting individuals with complex mental health needs face‑to‑face
- Teaching and developing practical daily living skills
- Encouraging emotional stability, confidence and positive behaviours
- Creating, reviewing and following detailed risk assessments
- Working collaboratively with families, social workers and wider partners
- Offering tenancy‑related support, including property management and move‑on plans
- Promoting techniques that reduce drug and alcohol dependency
- Maintaining accurate, timely records and following procedures and legislation
- Using professional curiosity and creativity to motivate meaningful change
What You’ll Have:

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to the location.
Working hours:
This role involves shift work, not standard 9–5 hours. Rotas include:
- 8am–3pm
- 8am–4pm
- 10am–6pm
- 2pm–9:30pm
