As part of our Property Services Team, you will provide electrical maintenance for NCHAs tenants and external customers in line with NCHAs vision of More Homes, Great Services, Better Lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Organising and carrying out the design, installation, maintenance, testing and repair work of electrical systems for the Associations managed properties, housing stock and external customers in accordance with agreed targets and procedures.
- Updating and maintaining manual and computerised records relating to testing electrical installations.
- Identifying customer needs and co-ordinating the services of other trades/working with colleagues, contractors and partners to ensure a seamless and excellent service to customers.
- Ensuring that all activities are discharged in a safe manner and risks are minimised at all times.
- Providing relief cover for colleagues and participating in the standby/call-out rota to cover emergency breakdowns.

This role requires you to have an NVQ level 3 in electrical installation, as well as an 18th edition wiring regulations, AM2, 2391-52 (or equivalent) inspection and testing (essential) and a minimum of 5 years experience. Extensive, demonstrable post qualification experience in the electrical trade is required.
Able to complete EICR's in domestic settings and ability to use computerised data recording equipment is necessary. Experience of bathroom and kitchen upgrades is required.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. Head Office is based in Clifton.
