About Heathfield House
Heathfield House is NCHA’s dedicated homeless service, providing accommodation and support for 24 single people aged 18+. Our team helps residents manage their tenancy, access benefits, and take steps towards independent living. Every day, you’ll be part of a service that changes lives.
The Role
- Interview applicants, complete risk and needs assessments, and manage allocations with the Scheme Manager
- Support tenants with move‑ins, housing benefit claims, tenancy agreements, and repairs reporting
- Maintain regular contact with tenants, ensuring they meet tenancy responsibilities
- Help manage arrears and repayment plans, and consult with tenants as a group
- Signpost residents to specialist agencies for health, substance misuse, education, employment, and training
- Encourage integration into society and support realistic move‑on options with landlords and letting schemes
- Keep accurate records, update support plans, and ensure health & safety compliance
This role may involve lone working, so resilience and initiative are key.
