We're looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist to help ensure our customers have a genuine voice in shaping the services we provide.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll spend time out in our communities, speaking with customers, organising events, and gathering valuable feedback that helps us improve what we do.
- What you'll be doing
- Planning and delivering community events, engagement activities, and consultations.
- Building relationships with customers and encouraging them to get involved in shaping our services.
- Gathering feedback through surveys, focus groups, workshops, and other engagement methods.
- Analysing customer insight and presenting findings to help inform decision-making.
- Working with colleagues across the organisation to increase participation and ensure a broad range of customer voices are heard.
- Using community data and local knowledge to identify trends and target engagement opportunities.
- Supporting campaigns and initiatives on key issues affecting our customers and communities.
We're looking for someone with experience in a customer-facing role who is organised, proactive, and comfortable communicating with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
You'll have strong interpersonal skills, an interest in community engagement, and the ability to collect and interpret customer feedback to help drive improvements.
A good understanding of social housing, customer involvement, and consultation methods is essential, along with knowledge of the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard.
You'll also need strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, a full driving licence, and access to a vehicle.
Flexibility to attend occasional evening meetings is required.
Ideally, you'll hold a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), although we're also happy to hear from candidates who are willing to work towards this through continued professional development.
