NCHA is one of the leading housing associations in the East Midlands. We manage all repairs and maintenance in-house to deliver quality and efficiency for our customers. Our Property Services team is growing and we’re looking for talented Work Planners to help us keep homes safe and well maintained.
The Role
As a Work Planner you’ll schedule and coordinate housing repairs and maintenance for our trade teams. You’ll make sure jobs are planned effectively and completed on time, helping us provide excellent service to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose maintenance issues and estimate time needed for repairs
- Create work schedules to maximise team productivity
- Raise work orders using our systems
- Provide clear instructions to trade teams and inspectors
- Order materials when needed
- Monitor progress and ensure tasks meet Service Level Agreements.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in planning or administration is desirable
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Calm under pressure and able to meet deadlines
- Aware of diverse customer needs
