Do you have experience in Fire Compliance? Do you want to help keep people safe in their homes and ensure our properties meet the highest compliance standards? At Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA), we're committed to providing safe, secure, and well-maintained homes for our customers. We're looking for a Compliance Contracts Officer to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in delivering landlord compliance across our property portfolio.

As a Compliance Contracts Officer, you'll be at the heart of our compliance operations, ensuring that our homes meet all statutory and regulatory requirements. You will:

  • Oversee the delivery of Fire Safety contracts including Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Inspections and other regulatory inspection programmes
  • Complete necessary reports, recordings and administration to improve landlord compliance
  • Monitor and report on all areas of responsibility including potential instances of non-compliance
  • Ensure that works completed relating to compliance are completed and maintained in line with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and within timescale
  • Support the Compliance Contracts Manager in the procurement of services via traditional tenders or frameworks
  • Monitor contract administration with service providers and contractors and assist with managing service provider and contractor performance
  • Responsible for the KPI's for contracts; taking any necessary action to ensure agreed standards are achieved
  • Support colleagues and contractors in overseeing refurbishment, maintenance and repair work within relevant buildings
  • Carry out monitored/ pre/ post inspections on compliance related works carried out by both contractors and in-house teams

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for safety and quality. You'll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of the 'Big 6' compliance areas in housing
  • Demonstrable experience of working with fire compliance
  • Experience of planning and delivering complex programmes of work on time, to specification and budget
  • Experience in landlord compliance, contract procurement and contractor management
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
  • A full valid driving licence and flexibility to attend meetings outside core hours
