We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to play a key role in delivering our corporate Health & Safety function. About the role This is a critical position within our Corporate Health & Safety team, providing professional advice, and support across the organisation. You’ll work closely with managers and teams to help maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and supporting continuous improvement. You’ll contribute to the delivery of the Corporate Health & Safety Strategy, helping to embed a positive safety culture and ensure effective risk management across a wide range of services, including housing and care and support environments. As part of the role, you’ll: * Coordinate audits, inspections and policy reviews * Support incident reporting, investigation and the implementation of learning outcomes * Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and internal standards * Provide guidance to managers on risk assessments and safe systems of work * Contribute to training delivery, communications and safety initiatives * Support the development and continuous improvement of H&S systems and processes Qualifications You will need to hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate IOSH status, with a commitment to progressing towards Chartered Membership (CMIOSH). About you We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice, who can communicate effectively and influence positive behaviours. You will be well organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and have experience supporting risk management, audits or compliance activities. You will also be confident using systems and data to monitor performance and support reporting, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Why join us?
