Children's Worker South Derbyshire This post is exempt under Sch 9 Pt 1 of the Equality Act 2010 and is only open to female applicants. Join NCHA as a Children’s Worker in Derbyshire, delivering high-quality childcare and family support services within our WISH domestic abuse support project. This is a rewarding, community-based role where you will support children aged 0–16, who have experienced or been impacted by domestic abuse, helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered. About the Role As a Children’s Worker, you will: * Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for children aged 0–16, supporting their development and wellbeing * Provide practical and emotional support to children and their parents * Develop and review individual support plans, tailored to each child’s needs * Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service * Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and compliance standards * Carry out risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding processes, including attending meetings where required * Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all families This is a community-based childcare role, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (with business insurance) is essential.
