We are expanding our team and seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join us in Nottingham as a Mechanical Engineer Apprentice. The apprenticeship aims to develop your skills in machinery efficiency, maintenance, testing, and installation.
- Assist with mechanical installations for the sludge process, including maintenance of centrifuge, drum thickener, and bell press
- Perform regular testing and maintenance of machinery
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Resolve problems promptly
Vacancy requirements
- Analytical, logical, and creative skills
- GCSE or equivalent in English (C/4 or above)
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths (C/4 or above)
- Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in Maths and English, if required
- Diploma in Engineering Technology (embedded qualification)
- Training will be delivered one day per week during term time at The Highfield site, equipped with industry-recognized equipment to ensure practical learning aligned with industry standards
