Who we need

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated lecturer with experience of teaching the WJEC Level 3 Diploma in Criminology. We are seeking a Criminology teacher to join our team at High Pavement 6th Form Centre. The WJEC Level 3 Diploma is an extremely popular subject choice here at High Pavement.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of our students and we need someone who can inspire, engage and guide students to achieve their academic potential and career ambitions.

Note – this is a part time, fixed term position, working 29.6 hours per week until May 2026, and then reducing to 14.8 hours per week between May to July 2026.

What you’ll bring

The skills and experience we are looking for the successful candidate include:

  • Experience of teaching the WJEC Level 3 Diploma in Criminology
  • Hold a recognised level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bring creativity and innovation to the classroom, utilising a range of teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • A commitment to understanding and catering to the diverse needs of our young people, fostering their academic and personal development.
