Job Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, design and deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment in the workplace.
- Take responsibility for a caseload of apprentices and their e‑portfolios, ensuring timely completion within agreed and appropriate timescales.
- Ensure KPI's are achieved such as completing reviews, off‑the‑job is recorded and up to date, monitoring of attendance, recording of the learner journey, timely completion, etc.
- Motivate and inspire all apprentices so that they are supported to achieve excellence and are encouraged to achieve their full potential including higher grades.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the employer's needs are met.
Fixed Term Details
This is a fixed term position until 31st July 2027, working 18.5 hours per week (part time).
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a relevant Residential Childcare qualification (minimum level 3).
- Experience within the sector (last 5 years).
- Hold an assessing qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding and experience of the delivery and assessment in subject area.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with ability to manage own diary.
- Willingness to update own professional development.
- Able to work effectively as a member of a team and have experience of successful team working and be committed to a team‑based approach.
