What you'll do

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of a specified area to agreed standards as allocated by the Catering and Commercial Manager or Supervisor, including:
    • Responsibilities for outside areas, grounds clearing, litter removal, cleaning duties whilst the building is still in use and preparation for morning cleans.
    • Litter removal inside the building in busy areas.
    • Cleaning offices, classrooms, laboratories, event areas, stairs, corridors, entrances, etc.
    • High and low dusting (using both damp and dry dusting methods) desks, chairs, PCs, ledges, edges, sills, etc.

This post requires an early start of 6 am to ensure that our buildings are cleaned to the highest standards.

We are looking for cleaners who are practical and have strong organisation skills. You will bring flexibility and practicality, along with a desire to ensure that the building is clean for our students and staff members.
