To promote the Council's vision, values, aims, objectives and priorities, we are seeking a School Swimming Instructor to deliver School Swimming Lessons aligned to the National Curriculum Outcomes in relation to Swimming in PE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the curriculum and for ensuring the safety of all participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the National Curriculum for Swimming in school settings.
  • Ensure all participants are safely managed and supervised during lessons.
  • Plan, organise and assess lesson sessions.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 in Teaching Aquatics or equivalent.
  • NPLQ or NRASTAC Rescue Qualification.
  • DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity.
  • Fluency in English (English Language Requirement under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
