Overview
The Operational Logistics Officer ensures the efficient coordination and delivery of Waste and Street Cleansing services. This role supports daily operations, optimises service schedules (workpacks) and contributes to continuous improvement through data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and using digital tools and systems to enhance decision-making and operational transparency. The position directs day-to-day operational logistics to ensure services are delivered efficiently, on time, and in accordance with established performance standards.
Responsibilities

- Optimise service schedules and resources to support the seamless execution of frontline activities.
- Plan and manage operational schedules using digital tools.
- Coordinate logistics across multiple service areas, including waste collection, street cleansing, bulky waste, and bin deliveries.
- Monitor service performance against SLAs and KPIs, and initiate corrective actions where needed.
- Respond to resident enquiries and complaints across various channels within agreed timeframes.
- Support service continuity and emergency response planning during operational disruptions or adverse weather conditions.

- Proven ability to coordinate logistics across multiple service areas, including waste collection, street cleansing, bulky waste, and bin deliveries
