About the Role
Deliver school swimming lessons for the National Curriculum Outcomes in relation to Swimming in PE and be responsible for the safety of participants. Knowledge and experience of delivering the National Curriculum in Swimming is essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver school swimming lessons across multiple venues in Nottinghamshire.
- Plan and facilitate lessons that meet National Curriculum outcomes.
- Ensure participant safety and implement rescue procedures.
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
- Support the Council’s vision, values and priorities in all activities.
Qualifications
- Level 2 In Teaching Aquatics
- NPLQ or NRASTAC Rescue Qualification
- DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity (required)
- Fluent English speaking ability, meeting the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
