Join our Fostering Kinship Team

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering Kinship Team.

Working with kinship carers, connected persons and fostering families, you'll play an important role in helping children remain connected to the people and relationships that matter most to them. You'll be part of a knowledgeable and committed team dedicated to achieving the very best outcomes for children by supporting them to remain within their family and community networks wherever possible.

As a Level 2 Social Worker within Fostering Kinship, you'll take responsibility for more complex assessments and support arrangements with increasing autonomy and professional confidence. You'll undertake connected person assessments, support carers through the approval process and provide ongoing guidance to help placements remain safe, stable and nurturing.

This is a busy and rewarding role that will see you working closely with children, carers, family members, colleagues and partner agencies. You'll use your assessment skills, professional judgement and relationship-based practice to build strong partnerships and achieve positive long-term outcomes for children.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified and registered social workers who have completed their ASYE and are looking to develop specialist experience within kinship and fostering services. You'll further develop your analytical, assessment and support skills while contributing to a culture of excellent social work.

Through reflective supervision, coaching and ongoing professional development, you'll be supported to strengthen your practice, grow your confidence and continue progressing your social work career within a service that values learning, development and professional excellence.
