About the Role
- To provide an excellent customer focused service to Citizens, Carers, other colleagues and partners requesting Adult Social Care or health services.
- To ensure Citizens and Carers needs are assessed and triaged at the point of contact with the support and guidance of a senior colleague and are advised of the services available to them.
- To liaise with social care and health professionals as appropriate, to ensure that Citizens and Carers are triaged to determine urgency and presenting level of risk.
- To signpost Citizens, Carers, other colleagues and partners to appropriate provision and services dependent upon need.
About You
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a busy customer contact centre.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vulnerable Citizens and Carers and their family, demonstrating excellent communication and listening skills.
- Extensive experience of using the MS office suite.
- Ability to undertake high level office administrative duties.
- Ability to understand and deal with confidential and sensitive issues when liaising with both team members and other professionals.
- DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
