About the Role:
- Responsible for the effective development and delivery of youth provision in various settings, including centre-based, outreach, and detached settings.
- Delivery across a range of youth provision and community venues, including Bulwell Riverside Youth Centre, the new Youth Hub, and other locations across Nottingham City.
- Work with colleagues across Children's Integrated Services and a range of voluntary and community organisations to ensure the joint co-ordination and delivery of positive activities for young people.
- Create safe, engaging, and inclusive opportunities for young people, helping them to build confidence, develop skills, and achieve positive outcomes.
- Oversee volunteers and ensure high-quality delivery that meets the needs of Nottingham's diverse communities.
- Build positive relationships with young people, families, and partner organisations to ensure services are responsive to local needs.
About You:
- Minimum of Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work, JNC qualification in youth work, or relevant children's service discipline.
- Experience providing high-quality services for children and young people, including those at risk of anti-social behaviour and youth violence.
- Good knowledge and experience of planning, co-ordinating, and leading youth work sessions.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and develop respectful and trusting relationships with children, young people, and families.
- Understanding of Safeguarding and Early Help practice in respect to children, young people, and families.
- Commitment to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the service.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
