About the Role
Are you a passionate and experienced clinician ready to shape the future of children and young people’s mental health services? We are looking for a qualified Low Intensity CBT Supervisor (or equivalent) to join our forward-thinking and innovative Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in Nottingham City. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic, school-based service at the heart of early intervention and prevention.
As an LI CBT Supervisor, you will be central to maintaining the quality and impact of our service. You will provide clinical and case management supervision to EMHPs, supporting their development, enhancing their clinical confidence, and ensuring safe, effective care for children and young people. Alongside your supervisory responsibilities, you will hold a clinical caseload, delivering evidence-based interventions and assessments. Your expertise in CBT formulation will guide both your own practice and the work of those you supervise.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualification as a LI CBT Supervisor (or equivalent accreditation)
- Strong CBT formulation skills and the ability to apply these flexibly in supervision and clinical work
- Experience supervising EMHPs or similar practitioners
- The ability to confidently hold and manage a clinical caseload
- Excellent working relationships with colleagues, schools, and external partners
- An understanding and appreciation for working within educational environments
- Enthusiasm for contributing to an innovative, evolving service
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role. A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
